Yeah I want to see it too. Just haven't had time to hit the movies. Probably end up catching it on BR
Raw, unencumbered capitalism is a wonderful engine, but how we mistook it for a social framework, for how to build a just society, and interpreted it as that, is just incredible.

I've never liked Leonardo, but Shutter Island was actually OK, so I'm looking forward to seeing this movie. He's definitely getting better as an actor, and the special effects look awesome.

Leo basically has the same role in Inception that he did in Shutter Island - which is kind of interesting.

I consider him one of the best actors in Hollywood. Always have since Basketball Diaries.

I just saw this and whoah. My brain is still recovering (in a good way).

So, does anyone know whose dreams they all were in?

First level was the "mark's" dream (the van/warehouse)
Second level was the "mark's dream (hotel)
Third level was the godfather dude? (ice fortress)
Fourth was Leonardo's?

Did I get that right?

As I understand it, the person who created the dream had to stay back as the others went further in.
1st level = the fat guy driving the van - the alchemist or w/e
2nd level = the skinny guy from 500 days of summer who saved everyone in the elevator
3rd level = the hot euro guy who made the snow level and was kicking everyone's ass in it
4th level = Leo's dream made out of memories so that he could confront his dead wife
(then they had to go save the asian dude who got shot in the chest - no sure they explained how this was done)

Meh. Inception was interesting to watch but ultimately forgettable. Maybe it felt a little too close to Shutter Island in its themes. Maybe it was the boring predictability of the twists and turns. Maybe Leo's just too one-dimensional for me to enjoy his performances. Whatever it was, this movie was pretty much a snoozefest for me.
